Core/Mainstream Materials
Q235 Steel: The standard material for professional-grade trailer jacks. It offers high yield strength, maintaining structural stability under a 3-ton load without easily deforming or bending; most industrial- and rescue-grade products utilize this material for their main structures.
Thickened Cast Steel/High-Grade Steel: Some heavy-duty models employ cast steel or forged high-grade steel combined with a three-stage screw adjustment mechanism. These offer superior overall rigidity and are suitable for the long-term support requirements of high-tonnage trailers.
Lightweight/Specialized Materials
Aluminum Alloy: Primarily used in portable trailer jacks. It significantly reduces the unit's weight while offering excellent corrosion resistance, making it ideal for scenarios requiring frequent handling or outdoor off-road use.
High-Strength Rubber: Used exclusively for inflatable trailer jacks, which utilize vehicle exhaust to inflate and lift. These are lightweight and suitable for use on soft or complex terrain, such as sand or mud.
Materials for Key Components
Hard Chrome Plating: Applied to the piston rods of hydraulic jacks; it provides wear and rust resistance, thereby extending the service life of hydraulic components.
Standard Sheet Metal: Commonly found in low-cost, inferior-quality trailer jacks. These are prone to deformation when bearing loads exceeding 2 tons and pose significant safety risks; they should be avoided when purchasing.
